We were delighted to be part of the Peace Proms Choir in the University of Limerick last night. What a wonderful new experience for our school and we are looking forward to next year already!!
Peace Proms is more than just a music program – it promotes ‘peace through music’ and empowers young minds to make a positive impact on the world around them. Our school (3rd-6th Class) have been working hard for months on a list of songs and dance moves and the highlight of the program was the spectacular large-scale production featuring up to 1,000choir members and full symphony youth orchestra, it was spectacular.
Peace Proms is tailor-made for children aged 8-12 years. The musical program has been engaging, educational, and above all, fun! And the end result was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, from the choir members and teachers & staff in school, to parents and audiences alike.
Last nights performance was presented by the renowned Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI) and it was very enjoyable. All the hard work paid off and the children sounded amazing. Well done to all involved it was brilliant to experience something like that and thanks to all the parents/family members for attending the concert and supporting the event and ensuring the concert runs again next year.
